Abstract
A direct writing, six channel oscillograph is described. Equipped with strain gauges
and electronic amplification, it can simultaneously record such physiologic data as
arterial blood pressure, intracardiac pressure, respiration, the electrocardiogram,
and the ballistocardiogram.
The Brush direct writing oscillograph has certain distinct advantages. One may record
simultaneously as many as six phenomena and the results are immediately available.
The equipment is compact, portable, and economical to operate.
