      Abstract

      • 1.
        1. Light was found to have no effect on the Liebermann-Burchard reaction for cholesterol from 580 to 740 mμ in either polar or nonpolar solvents.
      • 2.
        2. Unless measurement from 340 to 540 mμ is selected to determine cholesterol, no special precautions concerning light need be taken.
